Brownie was saved from the scrap yard for a trade and a bit of cash (not much). There are some body issues, and the engine appears to be missing a couple of components, but seems like a fairly solid bus (compared to the ‘69 and ‘71).
The plan with this bus is to first try and get the engine running. But before I do that, I am going to drop it and get it cleaned up, because it is filthy. From what I can gather, the engine is a 1700 with a 914 case and currently has a single progressive carb with an 009 distributor. I will probably keep the carb and swap the dizzy for an SVDA.
I am not sure of the condition of the electrical or brake components yet.
